AHA Friends & Family Training Courses
The AHA Heartsaver® Friends & Family course is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives. Students learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies.
Friends & Family courses are perfect for large groups that are short on time, but want to learn these important life-saving skills. Friends & Family courses do not come with the same certification HeartSaver CPR/AED and First Aid courses provide, but participants still leave with valuable knowledge!
This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in first aid to meet job, regulatory or other requirements. This course is perfect for those short on time, but with the desire to learn important skills!
